Inclusion Facilitator (K-12)

About Us

The New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education (NJCIE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to improve equity and access for students with disabilities in New Jersey. We are partners with Montclair State University and are providing support for districts across the state through the NJ DOE grant-funded NJIETA project (www.njieta.org). We provide training and coaching to school districts, information and consultation to parents, host an annual conference, and offer other services to raise awareness of and support inclusive education.

NJCIE provides services to approximately one hundred and fifty school districts annually giving us a broad reach and exposure, and we have a strong reputation for excellence across the state. In 2020, we entered into a federally funded grant project to provide systemic change support to public schools in northern, central, and southern NJ.

This is an opportunity to positively influence teacher beliefs and practices across a large swath of schools and influence change on a state-wide scale. We will also be gathering data on a significant number of school districts, so there are opportunities for research.
