Timothy Rohrer joins NJCIE as speaker and consultant
"The best gift you can give someone is the gift of friendship."
The New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education is excited to announce that Timothy Rohrer is joining our team as a speaker and consultant for New Jersey schools!
Tim will be available to speak at K-12 schools across the state for the 2020-21 school year either virtually or in-person.
Tim is a young adult with autism who is a passionate advocate of social inclusion. He is the author of a teaching guide called “How to be a Good Influence to People with Disabilities” and the creator of his own website, Tips4Inclusion.
This past year, Tim has spoken at several schools across the state, amplifying the need for inclusion in schools and for people with disabilities to hundreds of NJ students, educators, and administrators—including our state's county superintendents at NJDOE! He has created school assemblies about social inclusion that have inspired many, and his efforts to raise awareness have been heard around the globe.
Tim is an ambassador for Autism NJ and Best Buddies NJ and volunteers his time helping others with disabilities with social skills. He also attended school for computers and graphic design.
We are thrilled to have Tim join our team and support him and his call for inclusion, kindness, and building long-lasting friendships for everyone.
