A Wonderful Night of Holiday Magic!

NJCIE wishes to thank everyone who supported our 2014 Night of Holiday Magic fundraiser. Overlooking THE TREE at Rockefeller Plaza from the Pulse Restaurant is always festive and somewhat magical, even with pouring rain! This year was no exception. The generosity of so many made this year’s event one of the most successful fundraisers in NJCIE’s 25-year history.

It was a privilege, also, to celebrate this year’s honorees: Rose Cali, Joan Smith and Betsy Smith.  We were thrilled to thank three women who have advised, supported and inspired parents and educators across New Jersey to build inclusive education in schools and community. Their support of NJCIE through the years has helped us project a clear vision of where we heading: toward a place where children, regardless of ability, race, language or income are integral members of community, connect with their peers, have access to meaningful inclusive educational curriculum and receive collaborative support to succeed.

Under the guidance of Majella Matyas, Patty Haines, Susan Bongiorno and Betty Petrillo our auction has never had such an intriguing array of items or been more successful.  Contribution comes in many forms and the selfless volunteer commitment of these women continues to build the foundation of NJCIE.

Thank you for your loyalty and contribution to inclusive schools and communities! The collage of pictures captures a lovely evening that we will all remember for a long time…. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!  (Allison Haines, photographer, has made a great selection of event photos available for sale on her website at www.shutterfly.com/pro/ahaines/events.  You are invited to view our Night of Holiday Magic photo album on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/NewJerseyCoalitionForInclusiveEducation?ref=hl )
